The AIDFI Recycling Machines come in a set  of 5 machines with different capabilities: plastic shredder, electric extruder, injection machine, compression oven and hydraulic press.

All of them are low-cost, portable, easy to operate and low-maintenance.  In fact, The Blastik Project employs women farmers who can easily operate both the plastic shredder and extruder.

Fabricated at the AIDFI Research and Development Center in Bacolod City, the machines are a fine example of one of many AIDFI environment-friendly technologies accessible to marginalized sectors.
